UCAS Higher Education Fair 2016 Student Visit

UCAS Higher Education Fair Visit for 1st year level 3 students.

The Careers and Employability Team are hosting a visit for first year Level 3 students to the annual, UCAS Higher Education Fair for students on the following date.

Thursday 21st April 2016 – University of Derby

The visit will give students the opportunity to find out more about higher education, and universities will be in attendance to answer questions about courses, entry requirements and general university life.

To book a place students will need to collect a consent and booking form from The Careers Team, First Floor at Derby Road. If you are from another college site and unable to get to Derby Road, then please ask your Tutor to request the appropriate forms which we will send to them via the college email system. The consent forms will need to be signed by your parents/carer if you are under eighteen.

Students will also need a ticket for the event. This can be booked on-line and printed off when collecting the booking and consent forms, or you can go to the website direct and book your ticket:

Students will need to bring their completed forms to the Careers Office within the Student Support area at Derby Road.

Places will be strictly allocated on a first come first served basis.

If places are full your name will be added to a waiting list. Please note that lunch will not be provided and so you will need either a packed lunch or money to buy lunch at the university cafeterias.

The trip will depart from the Derby Road site at 11.00pm, and arrive back at Derby Road by 4.00pm.

The visit forms must be completed and returned by Friday 08th April 2016.
