The UCAS career finder tool for students is now live

UCAS’ career finder tool is a searchable database of work and training opportunities linked from – ideal for those considering their options after education.
It is open to all students, whether they’re in school or college, applying to HE, studying at uni, or if they’ve recently graduated.

Users are able to create a personal profile and sign up for job alerts. They can also search and apply for a variety of opportunities including:

  • employer-sponsored degrees
  • school leaver opportunities
  • apprenticeships
  • work experience
  • placement schemes
  • insight days

It features leading graduate employers, including British Telecom, JP Morgan, Hilton Worldwide, PwC and KPMG. Many offer multiple opportunities in a variety of different locations for each of the different schemes they run. To get the best results from a search

  • use one of the pre-filtered searches: at school or college, at uni or graduates. These give learners a smaller, but highly relevant set of results
  • use the Find a job tab to get a full view of all opportunities

If students are interested in larger schemes from the big employers, they should select nationwide as an option when searching – many of the schemes are available across the country
