Work Experience Week 12-16 October 2015

This week the work placement team, Lynne, Joshua and Clare will be running a range of activities celebrating work experience week, encouraging students to secure their work placements. All students aged 16-18 must complete a placement that is relevant and meaningful to their studies.

Please ask students to visit the ‘work placement stands’ and pick up a ‘Help Guide’ to support them to source their own placements, look at current live vacancies showing on learnernet or Jobshop or advice with CV and application forms.

The Work Placement Stand will be available at the following sites:

Monday 12 October – Ashfield Centre – Diner 12.30-1.15pm

Tuesday 13 October – Construction Centre – Upper Student Lounge 10am-11.30am

Tuesday 13 October – Engineering Innovation Centre – Pitstop 12-1pm

Wednesday 14 October – Derby Road – Atrium – 11am-1pm

Thursday 15 October – Derby Road – Atrium – 11am-1pm

Friday 16 October – Derby Road – Atrium 11am-1pm – support CV, application forms

Students can look at current vacancies on learnernet or jobshop
